As a little girl, I was all about my dolls, they were my babies and I took pride in their appearance, made their little beds, and took them everywhere with me. So having a range of beautiful dolls, like Minikane, at Ted and Winnie's is like reliving my childhood all over again. I've always believed that dolls are a pivotal part of learning. It teaches nurturing, creativeness, and imagination but most of all, it is the best open ended toy a little one can experience.
When I had my son 4 and a half years ago, I knew I wanted to gift him an anatomically correct doll. It was important to me to provide him more variety to enhance his play. Whether he wanted to feed his baby or play with his trains, at least he had the opportunity. In this day and age, it is so important for our little ones, both male and female, to know it is ok to play with dolls, cars, kitchens, building blocks no matter their gender. So it is extremely exciting that we can provide your little one a special friend for them to nurture. Whether they want to be a future Mummy or Daddy, doctor, or are about to become a big sister or brother, dolls play such an important role in your little human's development.
When I first discovered Minikane dolls, I was so excited to see another wonderful anatomically correct brand on the market, one that embraces heritage and learning. Our first launch was a hit and we sold out almost straight away of Gabrielle and Zoe. We are excited to announce that another smaller launch is coming this week with Jahia and Jade as well as the babies Leo, Olive, and Henry. This is an extremely small launch with limited numbers while we wait for more shipments to come from Europe later in the month ( think Chloe, Zoe, Gabrielle, Daphne, Lulu!!)
Our Minikane dolls and exclusive rompers by the incredibly talented Eve Junior Designs will go LIVE on the website Tuesday 14th July at 7:30PM AEST
In the meantime, we would love to have you follow our adventure on Instagram @tedandwinnies for exclusive sneak peeks.
